Time out!!!!!

The elves are tired...

The bears are pooped...

And so am I...

so I'm going to take a little blogging vacation until the New Year. I'm just asking ya'll to please not post anything good while I'm gone. I won't have internet access, and I don't want to totally lose my mind while I'm away wondering what you guys are up to with your posts. I don't want to feel the urge to go to the library to catch up on the latest and greatest. And I just know it's going to be bad because I'm curious...some might say nosey! So, please just take yourselves a blog posting holiday. We can all get back to work in 2009! Besides, I know we all have stuff to clean up. See, I'm really looking out for you too! ;O)
Thanks & LOL! Have a safe & happy New Year!
XOXO!

Hey Tar...Have fun on your vacation! I'm just going to post about collard greens and black-eyed peas and I'm sure that's no surprise to you. You're probably having it yourself on New Years! Enjoy your break...Debbie

Ohhh...How funny! I make my poor son-in-law do the same thing! He hates them, but I told him he can't be in our family if he doesn't eat at least one pea and one shred of collards...lol..Happy New Year!...Debbie

OK I am laughing at the elves and the bears.
And I love your mission statement. Especially the tushie reference as I can relate. Thank God there is no YMCA around here!

Well, I'll probably post stuff, but it will likely just be lots of photos from the holidays. I'm expecting nothing but the pulling of my own hair as the kids go through their Christmas sugar stashes (the ones I couldn't secretely sneak into the garbage)!

Happy Vacationing To You!

Hope you have a wonderful vacation. I'm afraid I'm so curious about what my blogger buddies are doing that I wouldn't enjoy my vacation. I'd be too worried about what I was missing in blog land! Now that's a pitiful admission. Have fun! laurie

It looks like lots of us are taking a little blogging break. It will be fun to start fresh in a couple of days, won't it?
The only book I can recall talking about on my blog is by Mary Carol Garrity. She has several decorating books out as well as several stores in Kansas. You can find her at NellHills.com or something very similar. Her stores are called Nell Hills and are in Atchison KS and Kansas City. Hope this helps!

I am so glad to meet you! It's always nice to meet another NC girl in blogland. You never know about running in to me. I could live at Black Lion! I go up to the Lake from time to time but usually keep the roads hot in Charlotte. I will for sure keep up with your blog - love your red walls! Happy New Year!

Hi Tar,

Thanks for the visit to my blog. The glass houses can be found on www.gardnerssupply.com There are a few other places that I've found them too, but I've been buying from this company and I like dealing with them.

Hey - welcome back!! You're right - the only thing I bought was the lamp - everything else I had around the house!! Of course, Meghan still lives here - LOL - when she is home - but that isn't what you meant!!

I took a little break, too - a few days by choice and a few by necessity! :)

Thanks for stopping by - it really was easy to make the little server! The plate and the candleholder were both in the candle section of Big Lot's. You'll have to let me know if you make it - happy New Year!
