Tablescape Tuesday - Beach Style

Well, it's another Tablescape Tuesday over at Susan's at Between Naps on the Porch. Be sure to stop by her place and take a look at all the beautiful tablescapes!

My family and I spent Thanksgiving at the beach this year, and suffice it to say that no surface under my possession is safe from a little do-daa-ing during the holidays....so here it is.....will show you a little more of the "beach decor" later in the week, if time permits.

I apologize for not having any "plate/dish music" to go along with my post today, so I'll try to find something a little festive. If one of you guys that can sing could make some Tablescape music, I'd appreciate it!

Happy Holidays from North Myrtle Beach, SC!

The plates came from Belks, but at one point they were at Old Time Pottery - they're one of those boxed sets....sorry for the big spoons (the teaspoons were in the dishwasher!) I have cloth napkins there, but at the beach, I use a lot of decorative beach-themed paper napkins. (Sorry for the chair fabric reflecting through the glass.)

The trees were from Pier 1 several years back. The glass fish was from Old Time Pottery. The plastic ornaments in the fish....Walmart after Christmas clearance!

Tried to show you these crazy looking Santas. They came either from Steinmart or Target.

By now, you must be going..."how many more shots can she take of the same thing???" Well...

The table runner was from Target a few years back.

And in case you wanted to see the china cabinet in the background....it houses more of my "dish problem". It came from an antique store....used, of course. (going green, you know?) The stockings were from Pier 1.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

P.S. After "previewing this post", I'm beginning to think my beach house looks like the Skittles room over at RMS where a commenter said "it looks like the Partridge Family bus wrecked!"

So colorful - best of two times - beach and Christmas.

If you enjoy it - keep it - don't worry about other people and their ideas as to what goes with what.

Have a wonderful week....

I LOVE the bright colors for Christmas...it's nice to see a combo that might not be "traditional" but is very fun and exciting. I'm laughing about the RMS comment...dang there were some mean witches there! Ignore them...they are sooooo jealous that you have a beach house so they have to think of something to say! Have a great day...oh and NOW you tell me about pier one...I started the wreath...it is hysterical...I don't think I have the nerve to even post the pictures...and my hubbies remark...well lets just say the garage is to get for him after what he said this time!!!

Tar, I purchased the eggnog fudge in a candy shop in Salado. Sorry! But look what I found while cruising today (I wasn't even looking!). It's not a baby shower but maybe it'll help w/ inspiration.
