Submission

SUBMISSION....that's a big word, and I must CoNfEsS that it's not one of my favorite words...to say the least...however, tonight at church, http://www.covechurch.org/, we were told to be submissive...Hmmmm.....that's a hard word for me, as it's not my nature.

1 Peter, Chapter 2, Verse 17 (NIV)

Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.

I don't think he is referring to

Of course, I hope "the king" is the candidate for whom I voted. I'm not going to lie to you....it's going to be tough for me to "honor the king" after Tuesday's election if the candidate I support doesn't win....but I'm ordered to do that...so I've got to prepare for the possibility.

Will I like it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! In typical childlike fashion, I'm not asked to LIKE IT......I just have to DO IT! And in typical childlike fashion....I'm praying for "my king" to win!

Hey, I never claimed to be perfect....

P.S. Just went over to eBay & saw this...how bout that for a laugh??? Who can resist Cabbage Patch kids?

Hi Tar...isn't that the coolest pic of the cross shining through the flag. I checked out your church video too...looks dynamic!
Well, we'll know in a few hours who's going to be in charge of our country besides God of course.

OOOO, I adore your post for today...I just love it.
I, too, know that, no matter WHO wins on Tuesday, we all have to honor the man that does win. After all...He will be the President of this wonderful Unites States and I will say that I have prayed long and HARD for the outcome to benefit our great nation. and, Oh, Dear...I so hope my man wins it....

I asked Phillip about a Todd and he said he played with Todd Lamb who went to Duke. I remember him but I don't remember what he looked like. Phillip said he was, "cute." Mmmmm. Hey, those dolls are cute!

It won't be long now, we haven't voted yet. My kids have. they were afraid they wouldn't get a chance to vote with the long lines they are expecting.

Hugs,
Chris

I could never buy the whole set of cabbage patch candidate dolls...because i'm pretty sure I'd have to beat two of them up...and I don't believe in doll abuse lol. Have a great day!
