Holiday Open House

There's a lovely little store in an old home, in a neighboring town where I live called Cornelius, just off I-77 at Exit 28 called Ashley Carol Home & Garden, and if you're passing through the Charlotte area, be sure to stop by. On Sunday, they had their Holiday Open House. Take a look at some of the things they have to offer.

This is just adorable! Love the tree & presents!

This was in the kitchen...

Santamaker and Shelia, the rooster in the picture is for you ladies! What a cool tree, huh?

And Melissa, here's a topper for you!

And we all love some bookcases displayed nicely, don't we?

I love these trees! They remind me of Dr. Seuss!

And thanks to my new friend, Norma, who gave me a personal tour. Here's some of her room.
Love the screen!
and the centerpiece!
Check out this entertainment center for a plasma tv for just over $900. Isn't the inlay beautiful? I wish I had taken a picture of the legs! And I wish mine were that skinny! :O)

And here are 2 of my favorite pieces! What I wouldn't give to have a sunroom again!

And I don't remember in which rooms these were taken...

And some rooms upstairs.

A little holiday decor!

And this painting was gorgeous!

I hope you've enjoyed the tour! Give them a call if you see something you want!

Hello! Yippee! You weren't kidding. :) You know my taste in toppers. I'm drooling. LOL!
I must have it! The red paint used through out our home is called "Cooper Molero Fandango Red" from Lowes. I had so many questions about it on RMS but unfortunately I don't believe they carry it anymore.
So sorry. :( Please check your local Lowes just to be sure. It is an awesome shade of red. Kind of "brick" a little "burgundy".
Let me know what you find out. If you paint I love photos. This shop is beyond fabulous! I'm going to look at everything in detail again. ~Melissa

Looking at some of these just makes my fingers itch to get started on my Christmas decorating. Sad to say though, none of my creations would look this good.

Also enjoyed the music...just set the mood for the tour.

Too bad there was not any hot chocolate at the end.

Hi Tar...Oh the lovelies in that wonderful shop or should I say shoppe?... Everything was so well arranged and I could have taken any & all home with me if my empty pocketbook would've allowed. Btw, I haven't turned on comment moderation so I guess your comment went into wonky-land. Three of my gal pals said "The Shack" chamged their lives...for me, I liked it but wouldn't go so far as to say that. It is written from a man's perspective so your dad might very much like reading it. Hugs, ;-) Bo

I should have listed you on Trim the Tree Thursday-this store is beautiful! I feel bad too about decorating before Thanksgiving-this is why I only decorate upstairs before then. It works in my brain, LOL. I didnt make the mirror words-most definitely bought those! That would be way too much work for me!
