Autumn Friends Award

Isn't this little award the cutest ever??? My new blogging bud, Tam over at Yakiddy Yak Yak, stopped by earlier to leave me this adorable award. Be sure to go over to her blog and say hello! Thanks Tam!!!

Here is how we play:

1) I need to list 5 things I have always wanted to do.

2) Then contact 3 (or more) bloggin buds, and pass the award along to them.

Here we go.....

My "Small" Bucket List:

1. Be skinny/Lose weight (the healthy way).

2. Tour British Columbia.

3. Attend Mardi Gras.

4. Build my dream home.

5. Spend Thanksgiving in NY and attend the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (in 60 degree weather - no rain), plus loads of shopping and viewing of the holiday windows and decor. (I almost got to do this one this year...so I'm a little boo-hoodlie that I won't be able to because no one is bothering to plan my husband's class reunion. :O} )

Ok, and I have 3 more, so please indulge me. I've never been one "to stay within the lines!"

6. Live full-time at the beach.

7. Live to see my daughter graduate college & hopefully get married one day.

8. Attend New Year's Eve celebrations in NY. (I know....I'm a nut!)

It truly is hard for a girl to narrow it down, but I'm sharing the award with those listed below, in no particular order.

Cami @ http://creatingmyselfcreatively.blogspot.com/

Krame @ http://thekramerangle.blogspot.com/

Marifer @http://unpretentiousstyle.blogspot.com/

Thrifty @ http://thriftydecorchick.blogspot.com/

Diane @ http://diane1876.blogspot.com/

Cowboy's Wife @ http://cowboywife.blogspot.com/

And my international friends....(I told you I don't stay in the lines!)

Raxx @ http://runfromyourage.blogspot.com/

Tismee2 @ http://squaredoff.blogspot.com/

Jannet @ http://jannetscottage.blogspot.com/

Enjoy & I can't wait to see your responses! Thanks again, Tam!

Hi Tardevil, Thanks for your nice compliments on my christmas decorating. On the chandelier I cut the garland and wrapped it around the bottom. The flowers are weaved throughout and the ornamets are hannging from the garland. This lady does her own trees but I will have several in the next coulple of weeks to show you. There are about 5 other houses that I think you will want to see, so keep checking in with me!

Hey, Tardevil, it's nice to meet you! I don't think I've been over to see you before, although I think you've left me a note before. I really try to get by to see everyone who leaves me a comment. I love making new friends too & I hope you'll come back often! I am really enjoying all the responses to my consignment post.

I hear you on the New York thing. I did travel there in |DEcember 2003, but as (my) luck would have it, on my second day there, the largest snowstorm in ages arrived and brought the city to a virtual standstill. I caould barely see the sights for all the blowing snow, and it was bitter cold.
~Sigh~ Someday I will return and tour the city properly. I hope you get to, too!!

Oh and thanks for the nice comments and compliment on my blog. Yes imagine what it is worth? What a lucky find!
I had to look up who Trisha Yearwood is(I'm not into country music so I didn't know)-my husband agrees with you-but I wish I looked as good as that girl! Lol!Thanks!

Thanks so much for the sweet award. I will display it proudly & will make a post passing it on one day this week.

I MUST do the NY bit for Christmas too. I've been to NYC before & enjoyed it but you haven't done NY unless it was Christmastime.

Hey Tardevil - Congrats on the award and your answers are great!! DD and I went to NYC for a long, girls only weekend when she was about 15 or so and we had a blast. We toured and shopped and ate and just had an all around great time, just the two of us. You ought to put that on your list when your girl gets a little older??
Talk with you later.

Hello! Thanks for popping in to see me. No, I'm not really a new blogger - I started this past June. I'll explain - the blog you've come to, it's just where I'm listing my favorite blogs that I go and visit. On my 'Note Songs' blog, I have a little tag that says 'My Favorite Blogs' and when you click on it it takes you to this newer looking blog. I follow so many blogs it was taking up so much room, so this is what I did. I had seen another blogger doing this and I liked the concept. Hope that explains it.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
