As President-elect Obama is sworn in today, I wish him the best. He has a huge job to do to turn this economy around, and I wish him Godspeed! Not only do I think our country is depending on him, but so many others are too! My only request is that you don't bail out everyone that cannot run a business. Please do not make my child and potential grandchildren responsible for cleaning up the mess made by all of the politicians prior to your administration. Please allow our children the financial freedom to have a life better than their parents too.
I am proud of the fact that you will make history today! I wish you well President-elect Obama! Sadly, I fear you're going to need it! My thoughts and prayers will be with you!

Hi Tar...well said! I, too, wish for our children & their children not to have the burdens of all these economic problems in their futures. Glad you're back! ;-) Bo
I agree. He does have a rough 'ol row to hoe ahead of him. But with the help of the American people, he can make a difference.
Thank-you for leaving the nice comments on the tablescape. Please stop again, Cindy
Amen to that. He is definitely going to need all of our prayers and all of us working together. This is a great country and I know that we can do it if we all pull together! Kathy
LOL ... you are too funny. He definitely needs prayer.

Amen...it's really kind of amazing. I have a very diverse group of friends and co-workers and almost without exception(there are one or two) everybody is excited and hopeful that things will begin to turn around...not immediately as that would be nothing short of miraculous given the state we're in but still...hope is an amazing thing.
Hope he will bring the change that this world need!
He is going to need all of our prayers...
Thanks for visiting me today & leaving me your thoughts!
He is going to be on my daily prayer list!
I have those same thoughts as well.
Change is not always a good thing -I guess we'll see.
Well said Tar. This may come as a shock, but he was not my choice, but he WILL have my support!! It cannot be any other way in this trying time that we all face and I really wish him and his team all the best!!
No matter who won they were going to have a big job ahead of them. My prayers are with him.
You're so right TD! I'm praying for this man - he has a big job before him!
Be a sweetie,

Well said! I hope everyone, even those who did not vote for him, realize we all have to stand together now.
Such a good post and so much truth in it. You're right, he's going to need the prayers of our nation! laurie
well I'm skeptical, very skeptical but I wish all that you do for him and the country. I trust more in my Lord and myself then I do any one person trying to bail us out of these crisis we find ourselves in especially since I think it was the government that put us here. Well mostly. :)
I so agree here! I wish him wide shoulders, enduring stamina, strong determination and God's Speed...for my kids and grandkids generations future!
Preach it Sister!

I have been praying for him since he started his run for presidency. I am hopeful that he will be the man to help inspire the country to turn things around, because 1 person no matter how great can do it alone. I really look forward to see what the future holds! Sue
Thanks for stopping by my blog! The movie was really cute and i dont want to give away the ending, but I would say if you think your daughter will be upset if he dies, dont let her see the movie. I also just posted a big question, if you have time, stop back by and try to help me out! Thanks, from one 40-something to another! Sue
Good morning Tardevil, I agree about Obama needing some Divine help with his new job. I pray his choices will be for the good of ALL.
I just said goodbye to 10 days of company. LOL. It was wonderful but today I am feeling the love just commenting away. My blogging friends have been so neglected. sigh.
Have a wonderful day!!!
