Don't ask me what my fascination with Santa heads is this year. Why just the head? I don't know....haven't figured that one out yet!But get a load of this decapitated Santa (it is Halloween, you know...) that I picked up at Dollar Tree. He tickled the poo out of me (not really) because it looks like Santa now has white dreadlocks! Who knew? I guess you get what you pay for..... Every year, I have to buy a Santa....If I'm lucky, I stop at one! This one's for my bonus room, which I have never decorated in years past, but will this year...if I ever stop blogging and get it clean. or two...or three...thought this would be cute at my little beach house. Doesn't he look like the Gorton's fisherman? Fish sticks, anyone? The moral of the story....you can never have too many "Ho's!"
So, that's some of Tar's Stim-a-la-tin! I've showed you mine, let's see some of yours. I hope this starts to get you in the Christmas spirit!!! Ho! Ho! Ho! Time's a wastin'!
Please note: These things are not currently on display in my home, but are merely up to show you what I've been up to and to get you ready for the season!

Oh cute, cute, cute!! I'm not quite ready to pull my stuff down from the attic - yet!! Let me get through Thanksgiving first, but man the day after Thanksgiving - it looks like a Christmas shop has exploded in my house!
You have very good eyes - don't tell my DH. He is veeerrry leary of this whole blogging thing. He thinks y'all are going to come "hunt" me down, tap into my checking account and steal my id!! Yes, that WJHS stands for West Johnston. I'm a JoCo girl, but not originally, I've only lived in NC for about 17 years - was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. I'm pure southern though.

Yes, we share a penchant for all things Christmas! Love all your goodies...I also thought I'd share a post I did last year along the very same vein: http://restyledhome.blogspot.com/2007/10/maamstep-away-from-cristmas-decorations.html
Have a great weekend!
Linda
Oh BTW - We are so close to the school, that on football nights, we can see the stadium lights glowing and hear the band playing if we are out in the yard or even in our garage!! It is so cool. Traffic in the mornings, however, is not so cool, but once I get past it, I'm OK.
Oh, my heart is quivering at all your WONDERFUL Santas!!! I've got the exact same problem!! I collect Santas & Snowmen. Since my bday is Dec. 15th, I've always been blessed with new Santas for my collection by my friends & family! Some I leave out year-round!
BTW, I plan to do my part "stimulatin'" this weekend, so I'll post any treasures I find. And my little ribbon box came from VictorianTradingCo.com.

I love Christmas. Your Santas are wonderful! Every year, I tell myself, no more Santas. But there is always at least one more out there, calling out to me!
Hi Tar...I love Christmas ddecorating, but I so dread having to remove the fall decor and PUTTING it up...it never fits back like it came out. Your post title was a hoot! ;-) Bo
P.S. Come see my new banner & template that drove me almost insane getting it up...I lost EVERYTHING and had to rebuild my whole blog...grrr!
There is something sooo wrong about seeing a santa next to a pumpkin! ;o) I hope I didn't offend you...I'm just kidding....sorta. LOL
I've copied & saved the recipe for Marbled Orange Fudge in a previous post...thanks for sharing! I love creamsicles & can't wait to try it.
I have a santa collection,a big one.I used to have a whole room devoted to santa all year round. But I am kinda burnt out on them or thought I was til you got me perked up again about them . They are all packed up in the garage and I was going to sell them . H-m-m-m maybe I won't sell them now. Now look what you have gone and done ! LOL just kidding you.
Wow, I have to start thinking Christmas too. Your Santas are awesome. I love them all. I have quite a few but not a collection. I always start the day after Thanksgiving. LOL I am not ready.
Hugs...Jeanne
Love all your Santas! You are too funny...made me laugh! And love you coming over and trying to talk me into buying a $1000 tablecloth! Ha! Girl, you are gonna get me in a heap of trouble!!! :-) I've been checking them out on eBay. Found one I was crazy about and it shot up to over $500 with 2 days still left on the auction. ~sigh~ I may never be able to afford one at those prices...but I'll keep looking.
I don't believe we have met, but when I saw you mention something about Santas on another blog, I'm here.....I collect Santas, I am insane about it. My one tree had over 300 santas on it, I can not wait to get everything down out of the attic for Xmas. We have our outside lighting on Thanksgiving evening at 6 pm, it's a neighborhood thing my hubby got going. We toast the Xmas season and everyone turns their lights on at 6. I love it. Well, see ya got me going about Xmas. Come visit me sometime and I'd like to add you to my Blog List, I think we'll have a lot in common. Maybe sign my guestbook while you're there.
Hugs,
Chris
Oh yeah, whatever...I know they are up till January!!! Ha!! I bought my son a Christmas CD with kids singing songs and actually played it in the car today. Kinda sick, huh?
Hey Tar...come by my joint and pick up another award I have for you... ;-) Bo
I love all your Santas! I am a snowman collector myself.
HI, thanks for the sweet note on my blog, I love your Santa's, they my tree is mostly santa, I buy one every year to add to the tree. Have a glass, well several like the one you like. They are just special. Maybe it reminds me of days gone by.
Well you do have a dang fine herd of ho's here. I love the fishing ho the best! Thanks for stopping by my blog...and as to your question...I've been asking Gomez that for the last three days...maybe you can get an answer out of him!
