MISSION STATEMENT: I debate whether I should even be doing this because my gadonka-donk butt and thunder thighs would be better served if I spent this time at the YMCA. But, for all my sistas who have cheered me up and provided me with a few laughs, I hope to return the favor by sharing a few of my favorite things that make me smile. May we continue to be inspired to serve our Lord, honor our country, and strive to be good children, spouses, mothers, employees and friends.

I know that because I've heard it at least a thousand times in the last month. And while I admit that she is PRETTY, $90 worth of pretty?
(Can I get a ka-ching, ka-ching, please???) And you know I'm cheap....I mean thrifty! And that doesn't include the outfits!
I've been through the whole Build-a-Bear....where friends are made phase....
(I'm not allowed to reveal what my husband does for a living, but if you knew you'd understand when I say that he's concerned about protecting our identity, so my child appears faceless, but rest assured, she does have a face!)
I'm just now starting to get my sanity back!
I must admit that my wallet is lighter, but my "granddaughter" is a pretty girl! And the smile on T.K.'s face when she saw "her baby" for the 1st time was like any new mom's.....
...PRICELESS!!!
Ingredients
6 ozs uncooked penne or other small pasta
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 Tbsp. olive or canola oil
1 can (14-1/2 ozs) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 Tbsp. minced fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. salt (this is where I would substitute garlic salt or powder & Lawry's seasoning salt)
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
* I also add shrimp (either fresh or frozen), garlic powder/salt, and red pepper and/or Lawry's seasoning salt, to taste.
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute mushrooms (and shrimp) in oil for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, basil and salt (and other spices, to taste); cook and stir for 5 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the skillet. Stir in cheese; heat through. Yields: 5 servings
So, that's some of Tar's Stim-a-la-tin! I've showed you mine, let's see some of yours. I hope this starts to get you in the Christmas spirit!!! Ho! Ho! Ho! Time's a wastin'!
Please note: These things are not currently on display in my home, but are merely up to show you what I've been up to and to get you ready for the season!
