7TH I WONDER WEDNESDAY

Hi, and welcome to the 7TH I WONDER WEDNESDAY!

Today's post will be short and sweet. Ok, maybe not sweet.

I wonder what prevents me from finding my glasses when they're sitting
RIGHT. ON.TOP of my head???

I can't SEE OR FEEL....what's up with that?

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

P.S. I hope the music on my playlist doesn't offend anyone. Just please turn off your sound or my playlist, if you don't want to hear it. I've needed to add a little pep to my step lately! :O)

Good morning, Tar...
Don't feel bad about the glasses...I don't know how many times I have been using my computer (imagine THAT !!) and when I'm finished, put my glasses on top of my head only to find a pair ALREADY there....
I was just looking at that sunroom...oh, my...I'm in love and I would be buying thing for "it", too. Someday, you just may get another. As for the mantel...it looks beautiful the way you have it. My daughter has trouble with hers, too, as she also has a tv there. I wouldn't worry about trying to cover it up. We all LOVE tv and no one thinks a thing about having it up there. ...lots of people do.
hugs, bj

I was listening to your music and thought why she picked all the same songs I did and then I realized it was my music not yours....I am now off to find my glasses!

Cute post.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday

Hi Tar, I do that ALL the time. The best is when I'm looking for them and there, two feet away, are my kids - watching and laughing. They get such a kick watching me make a fool of myself!!!
Btw, I love the music girl!!

Hi Tar...This is a very common occurence for me...haha...no, on second thought it isn't haha...it is aggravating...I also misplace the car keys (usually left in it) and my cell phone (have to dial it to find it) and so forth & so on...
Have a beautiful day! ;-) Bo

I wonder, in my case, if it's old age when I can't find my glasses until I walk by a mirrow?

Picket said...

I am bad to take mine off and hang them in the front of my shirt...then I go crazy looking for them and look down and want to kick myself! lol Hope you are having a great week!

Oh that is TOOOO funny.

There is on old British sit-com called "Faulty Towers" with John Cleese playing the part of a hotel manager. There is one episode about a hard of hearing patron who can't find her glasses - - - which are of course on the top of her head. But she can't hear them when they try to help her find them because she keeps her hearing aid turned off so as not to run down the batteries. I'm totally failing to make it as funny here as it was on the show - - - we literally laughed till tears ran down our cheeks.

Tar, this is so funny and so true! I lose my cell phone all the time too. And I love your playlist - how could anyone be offended by Fat Bottom Girls - one of the greatest songs of all time! Kathy

You are too funny! I finally got contacts so I no longer have to keep a million pairs around the house and still not be able to find them!

Nancy Rosalina said...

I can relate to that wonder!

Kristens Creations said...

I do that all the time! I've even put a pair on and had them on my head too. Now that's embarrassing!!

I just did that today - I have to wear safety glasses at work (dental office) and I was looking all over heck for them and they were stuck on top of the ol' noggin'. Or how about going to the stock room and then forgetting why you're there??? (So I eat a snack instead- why not? it's there and so am I!) ~ Robyn

LOL...I have a pair of glasses for EVERY room in the house...plus I have a pair in my purse. So, kitchen, bathroom, living room. bedroom, studio, office and my purse..and I still have a hard time finding my glasses, because I take them from the studio to the kitchen etc...

About lampshades. I just taught myself how to recover them...here is a tutorial I posted on by blog once, if you want to learn how:

LOL! How about waking up in the morning to put your contacts in and realizing that you slept with them in all night! I received your card in the mail today - so sweet of you! Have a great week! hugs, Erin

Speaking of glasses! I wonder why I have about 15 pair from the dollar store and can never find a pair. If you only have one pair and they are as close as on top of your head, you are doing great! Deb

Thanks for peeking in on me Tar-a-lina. You're always a sweetie.
My brain is too tired to wonder anything today...

Although, why do you have to clean and sanitize a home (a leased home) to get your deposit back when the new people moving in are just going to wreck it anyway...hmmmm?

LOL! I love it because I do the same thing! And I wonder what happens to my keys when I have JUST had them in my hand. Do you do that, too? LOL!

Years ago I was going to have the lasik surgery so I wouldn't have to wear glasses anymore but chickened out at the last minute. Every day my husband has to help me find my glasses he reminds me of it too!

I hear it only gets worse too!

Triple overtime... I would have died. I bet that was a great game.

I go to Las Vegas every year through work, but to get to our property is about 8 hours from Vegas. It's in Elko. We haven't been in a few years. So to answer your question not very often.

Tardevil, LOVE the music. keep it coming. I may be old but I am still young in my head. Which BTW my glasses often reside. I have done the same silly thing.

Hugs...Jeanne

Thanks for your help with the create a link thing...I see what you are talking about where I can allow links to my posts, but I am still not sure how they get there. When I read/comment on a blog that has them my link doesn't automatically show up so I think there is something that you have to do. All this computer stuff can be so frustrating...I am always afraid to experiment too much because I am sure I will end up deleting the whole thing! :) I have asked a few other people, I will let you know if I ever get it figured out!

Sue said...

I do that all the time too. Sometime I get more than one pair at a time up on top of my head. My grown children are always quick to point out the error of my ways.

I wonder that, too. But I've got the added burden of loosing TWO pair now, one for when I'm just a little blind, & the other readers for when I'm truly out in left field!!
