Interesting question...and as you might imagine, I have a few answers.
1) He loves me because He allowed me be born AFTER outhouses were used. Now, I know there are probably a few people that still use them today, but thank God, I am not one of them. I don't even like port-a-johns...or public restrooms for that matter, but sometimes, they are necessary!

2) He loves me because He allowed me to be born in a time when I have running water. I cannot imagine not having a shower!
3) He loves me because He allowed me to be born in a generation where washing machines and dishwashers were invented.

4) He knows that I could not have survived in a time without a blow dryer, a curling iron and hair products...no, NOT ME!

5) He knows that I could never be a flight attendant because I could never fit all of my stuff in that little rolling suitcase...especially for more than 1 day!
6) He provides that my daughter is interested in activities other than Girl Scouts because he knows her mama hates the idea of camping and tents!
7) He loves me because He knows I would have been a fish out of water wearing those 1800's type of dresses!
8) He allowed me to be born during the era of air conditioning because he knows I would wilt if I didn't have it!
9) He knows that I would be far skinnier, and much less happy without the invention of my favorite Easter candy....
Thank you God, Hershey, and smart people that came up with the recipe for this candy. I heart it and so look forward to it EVERY EASTER! Now, don't bother to look at the fat content... it's dangerous on your eyes! And be sure to RUN, not walk, to get some of this before it sells out! Please know that these aren't the only reasons I know that God loves me, just the ones I thought I would highlight today! Thanks for stopping by and have a good weekend!

And since God looks at how we are inside and not at our fluffy outsides I will join you. I love Hershey's and actually bought stock in the company and in spite of the Wall Street mess, all my peeps are keeping my stock strong by munching.

Cute cute post!!
Oh, but I'm a 50-something mama queen and there were still outhouses around in my EARLY days. In fact, one of my first homes way up in the tundra-esque area of Wisconsin ONLY had an outhouse. Now, I will confess - - - I was a babe in diapers at the time and have no memory of USING said facility - - - but that's what my parents had to use.
Wait - - - does that mean God doesn't love me????
(Oh I kid)
Adorable blog post today, sweetie! Could have written it myself....except I would love to wear those hooped skirts & be wooed in a horse-drawn carriage!!LOL

Oh how true! I always think that I would like to live in a slower paced time, then remember what it was like without a DW and washing dishes in a tub during our kitchen reno and I quickly come to my senses lol. Kathy
He must love me too! I agree with all you said! I almost fell into a out house when I was three. I will never forget it!
The chocolate eggs are being added to my grocery list for tomorrow.

Loved your post!!! I can remember using the outhouse at my Grandparents when I was just a little girl and I am 55. I also remember bathing in a metal tub by the woodstove in the kitchen. How about that? I love chocolate too!! I'm getting some of those M & M chocolate eggs. Yum!!! Love & blessings from NC!

Your comment made me laugh about joining with you....ha ha. I am letting our kids have the babies now. Our family will be 21 strong in September when number 11 grandchild is born:) I had a hard time getting our four here with 6 major surgeries to do so. For one of them being I went in for a hystectomy when I was only 26. after a 3 hour surgery and 10 months later I had our #4, our last son when I was 27. That was 30 years ago. Then I did have a complete Hysterectomy. Now if you do your math you will know I too old and without plumbing to let the chocolate get to me... unless it's for FUN and we just pretend!
Happy Sunday to you my funny and lucky friend.
Okay... I will change my ocupation it to a sahgm:)
We have hardly ever been without kids here. Right now we have a 12 year old neice living with us going on 18 months now... and grandkids are here alot.
I have a blog friend in New Zealand who found out at age 40 she was expecting and she is due this week. It has been quite the journey for her. So here is an ally http://deb-robertson.blogspot.com/ :)
I am just thrilled when any of these precious gifts come. My really good friend Ilse, adopted three children and then found out she was finally pregnant at age 43.
Cheers to you!
Oh Penny, God really does love us! Great post! I say, if the new baby is enjoying chocolate, you'd better eat what he/she likes, so he/she will be a very happy child, not to mention that you will be a very happy mother! laurie
